Bio- Sanskriti is a Doctoral Scholar at the School of Liberal Arts, Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur, India. Her research area is a broad intersection of Media Anthropology, Audience Reception, and their Fandom(s) in Indigenous societies. Through academic engagement and immersive ethnography, she intends to bring a socio-anthropological approach to studies of media infrastructure in borderlands (Manipur, Nagaland, Mizoram, and Meghalaya) of Northeast India. Food and culinary practices of these borderland areas remain a critical lens for the researcher to scrutinize the relationship between 'identification' and embodied fandoms around borderless media.
